"Lover Boy" is a bedazzling queer burlesque play; a good old fashioned love story told through the timeless music of Queen. Following Lover Boy, a newly out trans man, on a journey through love, heartbreak and true friendship.

Lover Boy is an original one act play written by Stinne Broechner- Nielsen, it premiered on May 15, 2025 at Copenhagen Theatre Circle's Fringe Festival as one of 8 original plays.
Directed by Stinne and Maria Hartikainen, the choreography was developed together with the original cast. Special thanks to Vala Diona for help with music and singing coaching, and Liubov Aleksandrova for teaching us to waltz.
Lover Boy is almost everything but dialogue - mixing burlesque, dancing, and singing with all the colours and energy of a Pride party.
